Elite 2025 LB Jonah Williams Talks Oregon Visit

Oregon capitalized on its dominant win over Colorado this weekend by hosting numerous prospects from the 2025 and ’26 classes. One 4-star the Ducks hoped to impress was 2025 linebacker Jonah Williams of Ball High in Galveston (Texas).

Measuring 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Williams is the nation’s the No. 20 overall prospect and its No. 1 linebacker, per the On3 Industry Ranking. After the visit, he took time to talk to ScoopDuck about his experience in Eugene and his future plans.

Thoughts on the Oregon game

“Oregon was a vibe. I really liked the atmosphere and the facilities.

“The fans and the energy around the team was fun to be around. (I enjoyed seeing) how the team got into the mindset for the game and the preparation for the game.

“The staff made sure to give me a good inside look into the program.”

“I’m going to Oklahoma the 21st of October.”

“I love everything they have to offer – both coaches. The energy both Lanning and Lupoi present themselves and how they act around the players and vibe.

“We related relatively easily.”
