Thoughts on Tennessee responding the right way against UTSA….

Brent Hubbs: “Yeah, it wasn’t perfect, but Tennessee did a lot of good things and I think there’s more positives and negatives. As we talked about – getting out of the gates, that was probably number one because this team was scoring fast. Getting back to the tempo that Tennessee fans are used to seeing. They did that in the first half, which is something that certainly this offense can build on and needs to build on this week against South Carolina.”

Rob Lewis: “Yeah, I thought the start was probably what I was most interested to see. I think a lot of people just wonder how they can bounce back after a disappointing loss at Florida when you didn’t feel like you gave yourself a chance because you were sloppy, undisciplined, etc. That you probably had to generate some your own juice for. I was impressed with where they came out to where they were focused and executed early. The third quarter – if it hadn’t been for that, you can’t throw it out. I mean, it happened and they looked terrible for 15 minutes, but if that had happened, it would have been either left Saturday feeling like – alright. They’d bounce back as well as they could with that kind of game sandwiched in between Florida and South Carolina.”
