Elite WR Caleb Cunningham recaps another LSU visit

2025 Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County wide receiver Caleb Cunningham was at LSU for another visit on Saturday as the Tigers took on Arkansas. With Jayden Daniels dishing the ball out, the four-star prospect liked what he saw.

“I liked what I saw from the receivers,” Cunningham told On3. “They played a heck of a game. I like how they threw the ball a lot. I had fun watching Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr., they had a big game.”

LSU wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton is building a relationship with the 6-3, 185-pound prospect.

“It was good chatting it up with him. Me and him have a strong relationship,” he said. “Our conversations are what make us tight, we talk a good bit every week.”

Cunningham is the No. 12 overall prospect and No. 4 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Mississippi. 

On3 rates Cunningham higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2025 On300, he is the No. 13 overall prospect in the country and No. 2 wide receiver.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Ole Miss is leading for Cunningham’s commitment at 31.5%. Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia, Louisville, LSU, Miami and Florida State are the schools he reported are standing out to him. This weekend, he returns to Starkville for a visit.
