2026 WR Jabari Mack visits Oregon, collects an offer from the Ducks
College offers are continuing to flow in for Jabari Mack, one of the top 2026 playmakers out of The Boot.
Mack, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound wide receiver out of Destrehan (La.) High School, made his way to Eugene this weekend for Oregon’s highly anticipated showdown against Colorado. The sophomore pass-catcher spent multiple days up on the Ducks’ campus — taking in the team’s practices, the game-day environment and meetings leading into the action vs. the Buffs.
Before returning back home to New Orleans, Mack added an offer from Oregon to his collection.
“It was a lot of fun,” Mack told On3 of his first visit to Eugene. “It was crazy because their fans brought a lot of energy from the start and they were supporting them the whole way.”
Bo Nix, Oregon offense catch Mack’s attention
The 42-6 offensive onslaught from the Ducks was instantly an eye-catcher for Mack, one of the most gifted receivers in Louisiana’s star-studded 2026 group.
The play of Heisman Trophy candidate Bo Nix and his weapons left an impression.
“I expected more of a fight,” joked Mack. “From their first drive, I knew it was gonna be a high-scoring game for them. They couldn’t stop Bo Nix and the passing game or their running backs.”
The action inside Autzen Stadium was electric. Mack also soaked up the important conversations away from the field.
“I got to see Deion Sanders in person, and that was awesome,” he said. “I got to hang out in the lounge with Bo Nix, and he’s an awesome QB!”
“It was really exciting,” Mack continued, “especially to be able to walk out the same tunnel the team come out of and have all the fans cheering everyone who walked through on. Even to the student section, who scream out the recruits names, was awesome. Watching the guys practice before the game from the sidelines made me want it even more.”
Mack collects an offer from the Ducks
Before returning back to Louisiana, the talented 2026 WR added an offer from the Ducks.
Darren Uscher and Antonio Parks are among the assistants leading the charge for Mack.
“They both showed me great hospitality and were excited to see me knowing how far me and my family came,” Mack said of Uscher and Parks. “It went well. They were telling me they were excited to see me and want to see me get better and when they offered me, I was ecstatic.”
Oregon joins a race that already includes programs such as Texas, Mississippi State and LSU. Early on, the visit to see the Ducks in-person has resonated with the team’s newest 2026 target.
“I always wanted to be able to go to Oregon,” Mack said. “Getting the offer just made me want to work harder and perform better.”
