Rusty’s Ramblings: Georgia set to host top targets from 2025, 2026 classes

After Georgia hosted a large group of visitors last weekend for the South Carolina game, the group expected this week is not expected to be as strong. Still, the staff is working on the 2025 and 2026 classes pretty heavily and that should come as no surprise considering the Bulldogs No. 1-ranked class has 27 commitments at this point.
I do want to highlight a few expected visitors that will be in town with a focus on those players who are high on Georgia’s board already.
Bo Walker – 2025 RB from Cedar Grove that UGA just recently offered.
Jaelyne Matthews – 2025 OT from New Jersey that recently de-committed from Penn State. Georgia is heavily involved here with Fran Brown as the lead recruiter again for that area. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has UGA favored to land him at over 91 percent.
Amir Leonard-Jean Charles – 2025 DL from Lipscomb Academy (Nashville)
Lotzier Brooks – 2025 athlete from New Jersey. Plays wideout and safety right now.
Carter Luckie – 2026 DL from Norcross. Brother of Georgia tight end Lawson Luckie and a Georgia legacy.
Rodney Colton – 2026 LB Newnan that Glenn Schumann saw twice in the spring and offered. He’s looking like one of the top prospects in the Peach State for his class.
