Georgia WR commit Sacovie White enjoys another day in Athens

Cartersville (Ga.) Cass 2024 wide receiver commit Sacovie White has made his way to Athens for two of the three home games Georgia has played this fall.
White is all in on Georgia. He committed to the Bulldogs back on Oct. 10, 2022, and he hasn’t looked back. He was again in town to watch the Bulldogs defeat South Carolina 24-14.
White could be seen amongst a group of current Georgia commits like five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, Ny Carr, Daniel Calhoun, Malachi Toliver, Justin Williams and Joseph Jonah-Ajonye laughing and telling jokes prior to the game.
White and Raiola got a chance to talk some quarterback-to-wide receiver talk prior to the game.
“It’s always good catching up with Dylan that’s my boy he likes to talk about the things we can do as a unit together, what he feels like we’ll do when we get there, so it’s always good seeing him there and catching up with him,” White said.
White also feels the close-knit feeling of the class of 2024. The chemistry is rooted in how the future Bulldogs are wired mentally. There are a lot of like-minded players Georgia’s 2024 class at the moment. Winning championships is at the top of the list for all of them.
“The group is close because we all want the same thing, as in wanting to compete, win, and do what it takes to keep this dynasty rolling for years,” White said.

The result was a 24-14 win for Georgia. The Bulldogs went into halftime down 14-3. White feels that comeback was a taste of Georgia’s culture but also an area that could get better as the season progresses.
“I think they played better in the second half, similar to my high school team got to become a full game team not just half of the game, but overall they did what Georgia does best great,” White said.
White enjoyed the atmosphere inside Sanford Stadium on Saturday. Georgia’s fan base made a statement White felt during the time the Bulldogs trailed.
“How they competed and stuck together and play through adversity stood out the most,” White said. “I hear teams say that when adversity hits you gotta stay composed, and for the first time I actually saw it…The atmosphere lets me know that all the fans are behind them even when they aren’t playing their best.”
