Kirby Smart provides latest on Javon Bullard injury

The Georgia Bulldogs starting safety, Javon Bullard, has been out since re-aggravating an ankle injury in Week 2. Since then, head coach Kirby Smart and his staff have been doing everything in their power to get him to return to the field healthy and ready to go.
As Georgia prepares for their coming matchup against UAB, Smart took a moment to provide an update on his starting safety and where he’s at on his road to recovery.
“Yeah, he hasn’t done too much. He warmed up, hit the field great in warm-ups; (I) shut him down and hasn’t done much this week in terms of being at practice,” said Smart. “I asked him today, and he’s underwater running, (and) got a boot on, but he has not been going in practice.”
