Oregon tabbed as three-score favorites ahead of top 25 showdown with Colorado

All eyes will be on Eugene next Saturday as the No. 10 Oregon host Deion Sanders and No. 19 Colorado,
The Ducks (3-0) and the Buffs (3-0) are set for a 12:30 p.m. PT kickoff at Autzen Stadium, with the game set to air on ABC. Oregon is coming off a 55-10 blowout win over Hawaii, while Colorado notched a thrilling 45-38 home win over Colorado State.
According to the early betting lines, Dan Lanning’s Ducks are a heavy favorite at this point.
FanDuel has Oregon tabbed at -20.5, with a total of 72.5.
That line is likely influenced by the status of Colorado star WR/CB Travis Hunter, who left Saturday’s game with an undisclosed injury after taking a late hit in the first half.
Brian Howell of the Boulder Daily Camera reported late Saturday that Hunter is expected to be out “for a few weeks” according to Sanders.
So far this season, the Ducks are 3-0 against the spread. They covered the 48.5-point spread against Portland State in Week 1, they covered the 4.5-point spread at Texas Tech in Week 2, and they covered the 38-point spread against Hawaii over the weekend.
Last season, Oregon cruised to a 49-10 over Colorado in Boulder. However, since Sanders took over the program last offseason, he has rebuilt the roster and infused it with blue-chip talent.
Through three games, Colorado owns the 15th-best scoring offense in the nation. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders ranks second nationally with 1,251 passing yards and is tied for third nationally with 10 passing touchdowns.
“Obviously I’m going to have to take a deeper dive in. But you know, you have to be a fool to not recognize the results that they’ve created on a team that didn’t have a lot of success before,” Oregon head coach Dan Lanning said Saturday when asked about Sanders and the Buffs. “So he’s done a phenomenal job. He’s recruited a lot of players that I’m familiar with personally. They’re playing for him. He’s got a good roster, and they’re winning games. Doesn’t always matter how, but they’re winning games. So obviously, he’s doing something right up there.”
