Green Bay Packers release Wednesday injury report ahead of Week 2 game vs. Falcons
The Green Bay Packers have released their first injury report as they prepare to face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2. Four players were listed as non-participants at Wednesday’s practice, including a couple of key offensive playmakers.
Running back Aaron Jones did not practice after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday’s win against the Chicago Bears. Receiver Christian Watson, who missed the season opener with a hamstring injury, joined him on the sidelines.
On the defensive side, linebacker Quay Walker missed practice after being put in the concussion protocol. He suffered the injury while returning an interception 37 yards for a touchdown on Sunday. Additionally, offensive tackle David Bakhtiari was listed under “veteran rest” as he heals up a knee injury.
