HOL Take: Saturday was quite the performance for Lenhardt. The true freshman led Nebraska with two sacks and tied for the lead with five total quarterback pressures (one hit, two hurries). He played more snaps than any defensive lineman, and all three of his tackles were considered STOPs. Hutmacher also registered five pressures (all hurries) but was dinged for a team-high two missed tackles. In all, three of the Huskers’ seven sacks and 15 of their 28 pressures came from the d-line.

HOL Take: The story of the game for Nebraska at linebacker was Gbayor, who vaulted up the rotation to play the second-most snaps (43) at the position. He finished with six tackles and a TFL, while a team-best four of his tackles were STOPs. Reimer was effective on his blitzes, finishing with a sack and four pressures (two hurries, one hit). Wright played a career-high 39 snaps but struggled in coverages, giving up completions on all three of his targets for 50 yards. He did record four pressures but also missed two tackles.

HOL Take: Brown led Nebraska’s secondary with a career-high 74 snaps and allowed three catches for just 18 yards on six targets. However, he also missed a team-high three tackles. Colorado went at Hartzog more than any DB, completing seven passes on nine targets for 81 yards and a touchdown. Gifford led the Huskers with eight tackles and posted the highest tackling grade on the defense. He also gave up three catches on four targets for 65 yards. Lynum only played five snaps but made the most of his opportunity with a sack and forced fumble. The drop-off in snaps after the starting five was notable, as only Hill (14) played more than 10 snaps.
