The Wolfpacker War Room: Final Notre Dame visitors list, NC State recruiting intel

The Wolfpacker War Room: Final Notre Dame visitors list, NC State recruiting intel

NC State built up a stacked list of unofficial visitors this weekend, welcoming some of the top class of 2025 and 2026 recruits in North Carolina and beyond to campus for an absolutely massive home opener against Notre Dame.

Noon kickoffs might be maligned by Wolfpack fans, but they are great for visits. The early start allows coaches to spend more time with official visitors once the game concludes. Three-star linebacker Joshua Ofor is the program’s lone official visitor. Jimmar Boston will be there unofficially.

It is also worth noting that, with the Notre Dame game set for Saturday, no Wolfpack coaches will be on the road recruiting.

Here is the complete list of prospects expected to attend Saturdays game, plus additional NC State recruiting intel.

Additional Wolfpack recruiting intel

Three-star ’24 linebacker Joshua Ofor

Ofor’s official visit is underway, and he was with the team Friday morning. He will get a first-hand look at the program’s prep for the Notre Dame game before watching the contest Saturday. NC State remains in a good spot here, and I continue to feel good about my Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) pick in favor of the Pack.

Three-star ’24 wide receiver commit Jimmar Boston

Boston originally planned on taking his official visit this weekend, just a few days after committing to the Wolfpack. Per a source, the receiver will now wait until later in the year to make that trip, but he will be on campus unofficially for the Notre Dame game.

A strong group of Charlotte (NC) Chambers High receivers will attend the game

Arrion Concepcion, Jeremiah Harrison and Tyran Evans are all potential Power Five prospects. NC State has built a great connection with Chambers High thanks to Wolfpack freshman Kevin Concepcion, and that momentum is spilling over into future classes.

Kevin’s younger brother, Arrion, already holds an offer and thinks highly of the program. Harrison is a solid 2025 prospect, and Evans is one of the most promising sophomore wide receivers in the state. It is great to get them all back on campus to see Kevin play a significant role in the offense as a true freshman.

Three-star ’25 cornerback Tyler Redmond

NC State cornerbacks coach Brian Mitchell traveled to Georgia last week to watch Tyler Redmond compete with Milton High. The class of 2025 prospect told TheWolfpacker.com that he plans on making another trip to campus for the Clemson game later this year.

Four-star ’25 safety Jontae Gilbert

Jontae Gilbert, an elite top-100 prospect in the 2025 class, does not have a visit date set yet, but he does plan on returning to NC State for a game day this fall.

A quick note on ’24 cornerback Jivan Baly

Jivan Baly, a key cornerback commit for the Pack, let TheWolfpacker.com know this week that he will enroll early in January.

’26 wide receiver Aiden Smalls

NC State extended an offer to sophomore wide receiver Aiden Smalls, a football and basketball star for Cardinal Gibbons High. He plays quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back for his prep squad. Offensively, Smalls is putting together an elite start to the season with 33 receptions for 341 yards in 3 games. TheWolfpacker.com will be in attendance at his game vs. Rolesville Friday night.
