Dan Mullen announces he’ll be in the ESPN booth for 2023 Egg Bowl

Former Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen will once again be a part of the Egg Bowl this season.

Mullen announced on The Stingray Show that he will call the rivalry matchup between Ole Miss and Mississippi State for ESPN. He will be joined in the booth by ESPN play-by-play broadcaster Matt Barrie.

Dan Mullen was the head coach at Mississippi State from 2009-2017 and coached in the Egg Bowl every year during that time.

This year’s matchup is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN.
