Elite Miami recruits expected at Saturday game vs. Texas A&M, with list continuing to evolve

Miami still has five days left until Saturday’s home game against Texas A&M at 3:30 p.m., but there’s already a growing list of elite prospects expected to attend.
Five-star prospects Jeremiah Smith — a 2024 receiver from Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna and the No. 1 overall prospect in the class — and 2025 cornerback Na’eem Offord are both expected to make the trip to Hard Rock Stadium. Offord will make the trip south from Birmingham (Al.) to attend his first Miami home game while Smith will take his third Miami visit of the year.
Plenty of four-star recruits from the 2024, 2025 and 2026 classes are also expected to attend Saturday’s game. Chaminade-Madonna 2024 four-star teammates Joshisa Trader, the No. 35 prospect in the class, and Zaquan Patterson, the No. 80 prospect in the class, will attend their first Miami game since their respective commitments earlier this summer. They’ll be joined by Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star receiver Chance Robinson, a fellow Miami commit.
Four-star 2025 prospects Solomon Thomas, the No. 22 overall prospect and No. 4 offensive tackle, top-50 receiver recruit Naeshaun Montgomery and defensive lineman Brandon Brown are eager to make the trip as well.
Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage 2026 four-star quarterback Dia Bell has maintained strong interest in the Canes and will attend his first Miami game as a Hurricane recruit. Bell is on pace to be a top-100 prospect in the initial On3 2026 recruiting rankings as well as one of his class’ top quarterbacks, and Saturday will be his first game visit of the fall.
Three-star 2024 Miami commit offensive linemen Juan Minaya (Paramus Catholic, N.J.) and Kavion Broussard (Zachary, La.) will both attend their first Miami games. Miami (Fla.) Columbus three-star 2024 defensive line commit Daylen Russell will attend his second consecutive Miami game after going to the Hurricanes’ season opener against Miami (Ohio) Sept. 1.
Miami (Fla.) Central 2025 three-star quarterback Bekkem Kritza also expects to attend Saturday’s game as the Hurricanes hold their interest in the 6-foot-5, 185-pound gunslinger expected to be one of South Florida’s top quarterback prospects in the class.
CaneSport will continue to update top prospects as we confirm they will be in attendance.
CaneSport’s Take
We’ve expected Miami’s contest against Texas A&M to be a big recruiting weekend for some time, but the Hurricanes are going all-in on for their second-biggest home game of the season behind their Oct. 9 game against Clemson. A win Saturday to put the Hurricanes on track for a 5-0 start would make a serious impression on Miami’s top prospects and is a massive opportunity the Canes need to take advantage of.
