2025 On3 four-star Jaboree Antoine headed to Austin this weekend

One of the top-rated cornerbacks in the 2025 cycle is headed to Austin this weekend. New Iberia (La.) Westgate product, On3 four-star Jaboree Antoine will take an unofficial visit to Texas on Saturday for the Rice game.
Antoine is eager to return to Texas after an unofficial trip over the summer.
”Everything has been good, but I’ve been itching to see what’s it’s like (at DKR),” Antoine told Inside Texas. “I feel like Texas is a great program with great guys surrounding the players.”
What do you hope to see from the defense on Saturday?
“A whole lot of guys flying around with energy and making plays,” said Antoine.
Antoine holds 25 offers including Michigan, Oklahoma, Miami, Colorado, and Florida. And he hears from a number of coaches on a regular occasion.
“On a day-to-day basis, I’ve been in contact with Tennessee, LSU, FSU, and Texas,” Antoine told Inside Texas.
Antoine had a breakout 2022 season tallying 32 tackles, five interceptions, 11 pass breakups and a defensive touchdown. He also finished the season with 1,650 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, 303 rushing yards, which put him just shy of 2,000 all-purpose yards on offense.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Johnson ranks as the No. 25 overall prospect in the country, No. 3 cornerback, and No. 2 overall prospect in Louisiana for the 2025 class.
