Justin and Gerry begin with the latest from the five-star priority targets like Waco (Texas) Connally cornerback Kobe Black. Even though Black insists he’ll wait until during his senior season, sources indicate he could be making a decision sooner. Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, and Oregon are in the mix, with UT looking strong heading into September. Justin and Gerry discuss Lafayette (La.) Acadiana defensive tackle Dominick McKinley. The 6-foot-4, 315-pound On3 Industry Ranking five-star is deciding on September 1st between Texas, LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M, with Ohio State in the hunt. It might come down to UT, A&M, and LSU. He mentions the On3 Industry Ranking five-star’s connections to Bo Davis, Todd Bates, and Larry Johnson as the best relationships throughout this process.

Justin and Gerry discuss St. Louis (Mo.) Saint Louis University wide receiver Ryan Wingo, who is scheduled to visit Austin on September 16th for the Texas-Wyoming game. Wingo maintained he wanted to wait until December, but his tone has changed since then. Texas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Georgia are taking swings, with Steve Sarkisian getting closer to the On3 Industry Ranking five-star pass-catcher. Justin will see On3 No. 2 athlete Terry Bussey on Thursday night in Timpson as they host Beckville. Bussey is making his decision on September 28th, with Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, Alabama, and others still in the mix. A&M and LSU are the pace cars right now, with Texas trying to get him on campus for the Texas-Wyoming game in mid September. Gerry mentions Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei offensive tackle Brandon Baker and Texas continuing to pursue the On3 five-star. Justin and Gerry finish with Wardell Mack notes, Texas A&M commit Myles Davis, and Fort Bend Marshall safety Joshua Lair. UT is still connecting with all three defensive backs and hopes to get them back on campus in September.
