Quote of the Pod on Tennessee
Brent Hubbs on his biggest surprise of Tennessee camp…
“For me, it’s the transfers in general. I think that’s the biggest thing that sticks out for me, and we’ll see if they hit on all of them the way it seems right now, but you had Dont’e Thornton and Dont’e Thornton was kind of the only guy anybody sort of talked about in spring. You wondered about John Campbell. John Campbell looks totally different to me now. I think he’s playing with a lot more confidence and he looks to be in better shape. I think if you got everybody and put them on a truth detector over there, Keenan Pili may be the biggest surprise of any of them because he’s been better than they thought he would be. Gabe Jeudy-Lally is a better corner than Tennessee has played with at times the last decade, and he’s probably not going to start for Tennessee. But he’s going to help this team along the way. So, for me, I think it’s the impact of the transfers and what they’re going to be able to do for this team. That’s the first one that jumps out to me.”
