Mike McCarthy: Micah Parsons is ‘fine to go’ after suffering leg injury

If you heard a loud, collective gasp on Tuesday, it came out of Oxnard, CA. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons left practice after injuring his leg. While he walked back out there to support his teammates, Parsons did not get another rep and was limited to the sidelines.

Maybe you heard the exhale out of Cowboys training camp too as head coach Mike McCarthy said Parsons is fine. The Defensive Player of the Year candidate will be back on the field on Wednesday, practicing like his normal self.

“Micah Parsons left yesterday’s practice with a left leg injury,” Jon Machota of The Athletic said via Twitter. “Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said Parsons is ‘fine to go’ today.”
