Ladell Betts has a strong running back group

Ladell Betts knows what it takes to be a successful running back in the Big Ten. That’s why when he discusses the current trio of backs at the top of Iowa’s depth chart, Betts is very excited about the 2023 season.

At media day, Betts shares his thoughts on the growth and development of sophomore running back Kaleb Johnson. He also gives his opinion on how LeShon Williams has really improved in fall camp this year and how Jaziun Patterson has built on the leap that he made starting in bowl prep last year.

Betts also discusses the two true freshmen backs and how they have impressed him during fall camp.
