2025 4-star IOL Juan Gaston feeling like an early priority at Georgia

Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake four-star interior offensive lineman Juan Gaston woke with messages and calls from a hefty Georgia contingency of coaches on Aug. 1.

The start of the month saw the contact period begin for underclassmen. Gaston was contacted by Georgia offensive line coach Stacy Searels, running back coach Dell McGee and head coach Kirby Smart.

Gaston feels like he’s already a major priority in Athens as the class of 2025 comes into focus. The Bulldogs offered Gaston back during his freshman year of high school.

“I have a feeling that I’m one of their top priorities in this class,” Gaston said. “The way they text me and check up on me makes me feel that way.”

The Bulldogs are an early contender for Gaston.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine has Georgia out front at the moment. The Bulldogs have a 55 percent chance of landing the No. 103 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings for the class of 2025 according to RPM.

“That meant a lot to me and it showed me that they care,” Gaston said. “It was just good morning texts.”

Gaston last visited Georgia back on June 1. He’s working to ‘find a game’ this fall to make his return to Athens for what will be his fifth visit.

Gaston has enjoyed himself when he has been on campus. The Bulldogs’ culture, great accumulation of talent and winning ways have made them a program that he has circled in his recruitment.

“Winning and having great players on the team (is the message),” Gaston said.

The great Wall of Georgia won’t deter Juan Gaston

The Bulldogs have six offensive linemen committed in the class of 2024 at the moment. Five of Georgia’s six commits weigh 330 pounds or more. Gaston falls into that category as well. The rising junior stands 6-foot-7, 330 pounds.

Gaston is aware of the offensive line talent coming into Athens in the spring and summer of next year.

That won’t impact his standing of Georgia. Gaston feels he will have to compete anywhere he goes in the country.

“It really doesn’t matter to me,” Gaston said. “If I have it down, I might start.”
