Rusty’s Ramblings: 5-Star decisions coming, update on nation’s No. 1 RB

Big decisions are on tap for the next couple of weeks. A trio five-star prospects will each make the call and Georgia is in the mix for all three. Scroll down to get the latest intel.
We are a little over 24 hours away from the decision of five-star Buford athlete KJ Bolden. It seems that every school recruiting him has some optimism at this point. It has been a while since I have covered a recruitment like this one. KJ is a very smart kid and he knows how to keep this close to his vest. He is definitely doing that and there is nothing wrong with it. It’s his moment.
After speaking to sources close to this one, I can speak from the Georgia side of this one. There is some confidence in Athens right now. I believe that other schools could feel the same way and based off what I continue to hear, Auburn is the other school at the top. Florida State is another team you hear a lot about, but talking with a bunch of people around Buford recently, the buzz pointed to it being Auburn or Georgia.
We will see soon enough. I will have at least one more update on this before Saturday night. I plan on being there to cover it for our site. This one is going to watched by a lot of people, you can bet that. On3Sports will have the decision live with Josh Newberg on the YouTube Channel.
Ten more days to go for five-star d-lineman Williams Nwaneri and his decision. This one has been little more low key the last few weeks. Georgia, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee are the teams that seem to have a real shot here. I am not ready to name a leader behind the scenes, but I think Georgia and Missouri would have the best odds to land him currently. He has made multiple trips to Georgia. He has family in Atlanta and I am confident that Georgia is a real player here. But you get no points for second place if he stays home.
Another major decision coming this weekend is from elite running back Nate Frazier out of California. Alabama and Georgia are the final two here based on my info and I think it has been that way for the last couple of months. Georgia has been my pick for awhile now and I think the Bulldogs have held off Alabama. Never say never in this world, but right now I would pick the Bulldogs.
