Report: Pac-12 schedules meeting in ‘last ditch effort’ to save conference

Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff is running out of time to save the conference. Colorado, USC, and UCLA are already confirmed to be leaving. Arizona will likely soon follow, being one step away from joining the Big 12. That would leave just six teams remaining but Arizona State and Utah could be next up.
There will reportedly be one “last ditch effort” to keep the Pac-12 together. DevilsDigest of Rivals reports there will be a meeting on Friday. And when specifically discussing Arizona State, University president Michael Crow will be willing to hear the Pac-12 out.
“Hearing that Pac-8 (weird to say but true) is having one last ditch effort meeting tomorrow to try and salvage the conference,” DevilsDigest said via Twitter. “Michael Crow is willing to delay ASU’s decision and attend that meeting. Cautiously optimistic that ASU still makes the move.”
