WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

The team returns to the practice field this morning, so stay tuned for video of the day’s work as well as post-practice feedback from players.

To hold you over till then?

Well, be sure to check out our Monday interview with Jim Larranaga, as he shares more insight on his team’s magical run to the Final Four, a first. Miami’s next task: Beating Connecticut and making it to … gasp … the national championship game. Along those lines, we also take a closer look at UConn and Miami’s upcoming challenge trying to beat the Huskies. Also check out Gary Ferman’s Final Four Q&A with fans.

We also had our Pro Day recap yesterday, with feedback from the NFL hopeful Miami Hurricanes and how they performed. So be sure to read that.

Plus there was the news that Cody Woodiel is taking over the tight ends coaching job.

And we have recruiting news for you as well.

For the second time and first time since January, Phoenix (Ariz.) Sunnyslope three-star 2024 quarterback Luke Moga made a trip down to the University of Miami for an unofficial visit, this time joined by his father and mother. Don’t miss what he’s saying about his time on campus and how Miami is factoring into his picture.

Another visitor was 2024 3-star ATH Ricky Knight. He recaps his UM visit and where things stand, as Miami is in a recruiting battle with Florida State for the Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) The Benjamin School standout.

And highly touted Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star running back Jerrick Gibson spent this past weekend at the University of Miami and believes the Hurricanes may be rising in his recruitment following his time in Coral Gables.

Plus, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

I don’t think anyone can beat us now … Posted by IbisRules07

This team is diverse and can beat you in many ways. Light up the 3s. Grind it out against physical and bigger teams. Show the mettle to come back in the 4th. Calling it now. This is going to be our first championship in hoops.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“He’s a super laid-back guy and a great offensive mind. He gives the quarterback a lot of freedom too, but he also coaches you really hard, and that’s what I need and want to develop.”
