Hawkeye Report Podcast talks Iowa Swarm

It’s been just over a year since the Iowa Swarm Collective was officially launched. A lot has been accomplished and there’s much more to get done, according to the Iowa Swarm CEO Brad Heinrichs.

He joins the podcast to look back at all they accomplished as an organization and their financial goals for their season year of operation. We discuss Swarm beer and how it has taken off very quickly. Has he met with and exchanged ideas with incoming interim athletic director Beth Goetz? What are his thoughts about her thus far?

We then move on to talk about his relationship with some of the transfer players and what he thinks about Cade McNamara and the leadership he has shown on since arriving. We also talk about not only the transfers, but other players who returned thanks to receiving NIL deals

Then we look at the Iowa Hawkeye football team heading into the start of fall camp. What are expectations this season and are they the favorite to head to Indy to represent the Big Ten West? Finally we wrap up discussing Iowa men’s basketball and what we saw at practice leading up to their trip to Europe later this week.
