Daytime Fireworks: Stephen Hartzell and Michael Surber predict Ole Miss, the SEC in 2023

On the latest episode of “Daytime Fireworks”, Stephen Hartzell and Michael Surber of Learfield, College Sports Now, Hand in the Dirt and Shutdown Fullcast join the show to talk SEC Media Days and to preview the upcoming season for Ole Miss.

The Rebels were one of three teams (the others were Tennessee and South Carolina) to make up the fourth and final day of the premier college football event of the summer.

The Ole Miss Spirit was on-site to provide wall-to-wall coverage. Included are links to all of our stories/podcasts/photo galleries/etc. from the week that was, as well as full video interviews with head coach Lane Kiffin and the Rebels’ three player representatives.

We talk about SEC Media Days and the conversations that were had throughout the famous Car Wash. Then, both Hartzell and Surber give their predictions for the upcoming season. After, both breakdown the SEC East and West and talk about which programs they like and dislike for the upcoming year.

Finally, the podcast wraps up with a trending or ending-esque segment about Lane Kiffin and his Rebels. Can the good guys make a splash and upset the proverbial apple cart in the conference? Is Pete Golding going to be able to work his magic on the defensive end? Will Jaxson Dart take the next step for Ole Miss as the returning starter at quarterback?

All of this and more here on the latest episode of Talk of Champions.
