‘I’m trying to make sure my commitment is the right one’: Arkansas commit Noreel White arrives at Ole Miss, ready to make a final decision

St. Martin (Miss.) wide receiver Noreel White arrived at Ole Miss on Friday. The Arkansas commit spoke with OMSpirit about why he is taking the visit and what he is looking to learn while in town.
“I’m trying to make sure my commitment is the right one,” White said. “I feel pressure but if I want to go there I should. There’s no pressure to go to any school.”
White committed to Arkansas way back in March, but Ole Miss has been relentless in its pursuit. I’ve entered a flip pick for the dynamic wideout to end up in Kiffin’s 2024 class. Arkansas won’t go away quietly and it will be a battle, but the Rebels really want the 6-foot-1, 190 pound prospect in Oxford.
“They told me to go and have a good time this weekend,” White said. “I’m locked in with them.”
Coordinator of recruiting strategy Kelvin Bolden has also been a focal figure in this recruitment. Wide receivers coach Derrick Nix and wide receiver graduate assistant Heath Dedeaux have also been key cogs in the Rebels’ bid for a flip.
Noreel White has repeatedly told OMSpirit he is not talking to any other schools outside of the Razorbacks and Rebels.
He also said his last unofficial visit will be next week to Oxford, Miss. Well, then he showed up in Oxford again for the Elite 11 regional. The 6-foot-1, 190 pounder will be a December graduate and early enrollee wherever he goes. Right now, I think it’s Ole Miss.
“I’m trying to take every little step and make sure before I go into the season,” White said. “It’s about how I feel. It’s not about money or playing time it’s about how I feel and the people.
“State is still talking to me a little bit but not as much.”
White also went on to say he thinks it’s “too late” for others to get involved.

On3’s scouting and rankings assistant Cody Bellaire loves Noreel White’s game.
“The thing I love about Noreel is the versatility. The film is phenomenal. He’s a dynamic playmaker,” Bellaire said. “When the ball is in his hands, he makes defenders miss in a phone booth consistently. Body type says wide receiver, maybe running back, but the skill-set screams, ‘Get the ball in this kid’s hands.’
“With modern offenses and the development of backs catching the ball out of the backfield, I see him filling some sort of (role) like (running back) Devon Achane at Texas A&M, where you see him line up in the backfield and slot and run in on sweeps,” Bellaire said. “The idea is, I don’t care how you get Noreel White the football. As long as he touches it 15 times, minimum, a game, I’m OK.
“If they’re all screens, if they’re all underneath, if they’re all hand-offs, I don’t care,” Bellaire said. “Get the ball in his hands and let him do what he does.”
White tells me the message has remained the same from Ole Miss and the entire staff.
“They’re just consistent. I want a shot at receiver.”
