Austin Price on the number of recruits Tennessee is looking to sign in the 2024 class….

“Last year and this class, the 25 number is irrelevant. It’s nonexistent. If you wanted to sign 43 high school kids, you can as long as you are at 85 [scholarships]. So, that number could be 22 or it could be 27. I think it depends on who wants to come and who wants in. I don’t think Tennessee is just going to take a body to take a body. Ultimately, I think you’d rather take some of those spots that maybe used to go to some of those guys who were developmental guys and go to the portal to try and plug a player or two who has a year or two in college under them. Who has a year or two experience playing at the college level. So, I don’t think there is a set number.”
