2025 4-star Georgia commit Justus Terry has Alabama ‘number two’

Manchester (Ga.) 2025 four-star defensive lineman Justus Terry made an early call on his recruitment that he still stands by.
Terry committed to Georgia back in January. The No. 23 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings is solidly locked in with Georgia.
Alabama is emerging as Terry’s clear number two program. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound defensive lineman will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend for a visit.
According to Terry, things came together last minute for the plans to take the visit. He’s hoping to get his first real look at Alabama. Terry has been to Alabama only once and that was for a camp.
The Crimson Tide has a lot of things that grab Terry’s attention. He’s intrigued by a lot within the program.
“I’ve got Bama as my number two right now, they’re recruiting me really hard,” Terry said. “Every week or every other week I’m in contact with Alabama. I like them at number two.”
There are a lot of things that has Terry sold on the Bulldogs that also apply to Alabama.
“You can say a lot of the same things that you say about Alabama that you say about Georgia,” Terry said. “I feel like it’s a good school, good program and I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s like.”
Terry is looking forward to taking in Alabama as a recruit. His first visit was in a competitive environment. Terry camped at Alabama. This time around he’s expecting the opportunity to take things slow and take them in as a recruit.
“I’ve been to a camp, but I’ve never just been on a visit and chilled out and saw what it was really like,” Terry said. “I’ll get to see this weekend.”
Justus Terry and Georgia
Terry is locked in with the Bulldogs for multiple reasons.
“I’m hard committed to Georgia,” Terry said. “I love everything that I’m seeing. My recruitment is still open, but right now, I’m committed.”
Terry isn’t going anywhere in the near future when it comes to his commitment status. He’s already making plans to enroll at Georgia early.
That being said, Terry hasn’t had the chance to see a lot of places. He plans on taking official visits when the time comes.
Alabama could be one of those stops. USC and Oregon are also programs Terry mentions that he’d like to take visits to at some point. The class of 2025 could have unlimited official visits by the time Terry and the 2025 class are on the clock.
Terry wants to take advantage of that if it comes to be.
“I plan on taking all the official visits I can next summer,” Terry said. “I’ve heard the 2025 class could get unlimited official visits, so I want to go on as many visits as I can. I want to go on ones out of state and just experience new things. Oregon and USC (come to mind).”
