Jordan Love shares advice Aaron Rodgers gave him ahead of camp

Aaron Rodgers reached out to Jordan Love Tuesday night, with the former Packers quarterback giving some words of encouragement to his replacement.
Rodgers jump to the Jets is one of the most well-publicized stories in the NFL. But Love also is a huge part of the story. The Packers first round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft finally will take over Green Bay’s offense.
Love talked about the conversation, Wednesday, as he met with reporters gathered for Packers training camp.
Love said Rodgers told him “be yourself, have fun, enjoy it.’ Obviously it’s my time now (and) he said ‘be yourself. That’s all you can do.’ That’s kind of been the message from everybody, just be yourself don’t try to be anybody else. Don’t try to be Aaron, anybody else.”
It’s a big day for Jordan Love and the Packers as they begin the post Aaron Rodgers era. Meanwhile, Rodgers and the Jets started training camp last week. The Jets and the Browns open the exhibition season, Aug. 3, in the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio.
