Jordan Travis reveals how he’s approaching season-opening matchup vs. LSU

We will have to wait an extra day to get the best matchup of Week 1 in college football. Florida State and LSU will face off on Sunday in Orlando, setting up an incredible rematch from last season. A lot more is known about the two programs this go-round, as everyone expects a top-10 matchup.
Florida State won Round 1 and wants to complete the series sweep. Quarterback Jordan Travis says in order to do so, staying level-headed will be key. He acknowledges LSU is going to have a ton of great players running onto the field, causing a great matchup.
But at the end of the day, Travis would take the Florida State roster over LSU’s. A nice bit of confidence heading into Labor Day weekend.
“Keep the main thing the main thing,” Travis said. “Stay level-headed, no matter what is going on. There’s going to be ups and downs, we know that. LSU is a great football team and a great defense. Have a great offense, great quarterback.
“We just got to keep the main thing the main thing. We know who we have and I would put our talent across anybody in the country. We got to prepare right. Just focus and do our thing.”
