5-star WR Ryan Wingo set to visit trio of SEC schools

Saint Louis (Mo.) St. Louis University five-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo has stayed busy this year with multiple trips to several of the nation’s top programs. With a week remaining in July, Wingo has a few more trips set before the month ends.

According to a 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong, Wingo will stay home with a visit to Missouri on Tuesday. He’ll follow that up with a trip to Tennessee on Wednesday before heading down to Texas A&M over the weekend.

Wingo hasn’t visited A&M since January but has taken recent trips to both Missouri and Tennessee. The Volunteers hosted him on May 28 while he took an official visit to Missouri on June 23.

While a decision for the 6-foot-1, 215-pounder likely isn’t going to come until later in the year, a new favorite did emerge following his June official visit schedule. That new favorite is Texas.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), the Longhorns sit with a 34% chance to land Wingo’s pledge. Tennessee sits in a not-too-distant second at 19.3%.

Wingo is the No. 24 overall prospect and No. 7 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Missouri.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $229K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
