William Byron wins HighPoint.com 400 pole award at Pocono Raceway

Apparently, William Byron is still on a hot streak! In the Pocono Mountains, the Hendrick Motorsports driver was excellent in qualifying. There were issues with some of the NASCAR Cup Series field on this Tricky Triangle. Byron remained about perfect as he raced to the pole award.

This is the third time that William Byron has won the pole award this season. Byron’s last pole came at Kansas. His first of the season was at COTA. So, he has shown a knack for various race tracks this season.

With this speed, Byron will be among the favorites for Sunday. However, don’t get too excited, Martin Truex Jr. has some speed as well. This could be a very fun battle at Pocono tomorrow.
