5-star OT Felix Ojo sets Colorado official visit

Colorado is looking to get in the mix for one of the nation’s top 2026 prospects.
Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge five-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo has witnessed contenders emerge throughout his recruitment and has locked in an official visit schedule for the summer. Add the Buffaloes to the list.
Ojo told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Wednesday night that he’s locked in an official visit to Boulder for the weekend of May 2.
“I feel like (Coach) Deion is changing the game over there at Colorado,” Ojo said.
That trip to Colorado will be Ojo’s second official visit, following a trip to Ole Miss that’s set for this weekend. Ohio State (May 30), Michigan (June 6), Texas (June 13) and Oklahoma (June 20) are also locked in for the 6-foot-7, 275-pounder.
The chance to make a splash in Ojo’s recruitment is momentous for head coach Deion Sanders and CU. At the end of the 2024 cycle, the Buffs won a high-profile offensive tackle recruitment, landing Five-Star Plus+ OT Jordan Seaton.
“The visits I take will be very big for me and my family,” Ojo told On3’s Chad Simmons last month. “I am giving every school I visit a fair shot. We will see where things stand at the end of my official visits. There could be a big change in my recruitment in a couple of months, or there may not be. We will see. It is about how I feel on the visits.”
Ojo is the No. 4 overall prospect and No. 3 OT in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the top-ranked prospect in the Lone Star State.
Colorado remains without a commitment in its 2026 class. Last cycle, Sanders and Co. signed just 14 high school prospects, a class that ranked No. 35 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Felix Ojo Scouting Summary
On3’s scouting and rankings team writes this of Ojo:
“Developmental offensive tackle with the frame, length, and physicality to develop into a top prospect at the position. Measured in at around 6-foot-6, 275 pounds with plus length before his senior season. Has a lean, long frame and should be able to add considerable mass once in a college strength program. Pairs his long arms with outstanding hand strength to stun defenders on contact. Punch is palpable, both on film and in the camp setting. Latches onto defensive linemen and manipulates them to his will. Plays with a nasty edge, working to finish blocks. Flashes dominance as a run blocker. Play strength, length, and solid athleticism point to upside in pass protection.
…Showed considerable growth in his game from his sophomore to junior seasons. Will need to improve his lower body flexibility as he can play high and displays some hip stiffness. The youngest top offensive tackle prospect in the cycle, turning 18 years old in July prior to his freshman season of college football. Rapid rate of improvement and notable strengths give him one of the higher upsides among 2026 offensive tackles.”
