4-star RB Alvin Henderson spends the day with Cadillac at Auburn, will return next week

Alvin Henderson, a 2025 4-star running back from Elba (Ala.), was back at Auburn on Thursday.

Henderson was there for a basketball camp, but had plenty of down time during the day. He chose to spend that time with Auburn coaches Cadillac Williams and Hugh Freeze.

Henderson is the No. 86 overall player in the 2025 class, the No. 7 running back and the No. 9 player in the state of Alabama according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Henderson spent several hours with Auburn coaches throughout the big camp day.

“I’ve been with him and Ms. Kennedy the whole day,” Henderson said. “It went pretty good, just up here chilling, we were up here hooping, so I’ve been up here about 1:30. I’ve been here for a good five hours.”

Henderson knows he’s at the top for the Tigers

Henderson had a relaxed day with the coaches, and he was part of the group that watched from the balcony of the complex.

“We chilled with Coach Freeze, then me and him just walked around, watched a few 7-on-7 teams play and then we went and had some lunch,” Henderson said. “Besides that we’ve just been sitting up there sleeping and chilling.”

The message to Henderson remains the same.

“They were really just telling me you know how we feel about you, so we’re expecting you to feel the same way,” Henderson said. “It’s the same message they’ve given me the whole time, letting me know where I stand with them. We’re still building relationships.”

Where does Auburn stand as of today?

“Me being in-state, Auburn most definitely sits high,” Henderson said. “Coach Lac, he definitely plays a huge role in that, then Coach Freeze coming, he’s getting Auburn turned around. Auburn definitely sits high on my list.”

Henderson knows he’s at the top for Auburn.

“Really and truly, I know they recruit a lot of dudes, especially at the running back position,” Henderson said. “I don’t just feel like it, I know I’m going to be a top recruit for them. Coach Lac and Coach Freeze tell me that all the time and they don’t just play around like that.”

He also plans to be back in the next week.

“I should come back next Wednesday the 15th,” Henderson said.
