4-star OT Jordan Seaton aims for Florida Gators official visit in September

Jordan Seaton, one of the Florida Gators’ top remaining 2024 recruiting targets, said Friday he plans to officially visit the Gators this fall.

“Right now, we’re setting up an official visit with them,” Seaton told Gators Online. “I don’t know the date off the top of my head but it is getting set up as we speak.”

That trip very well could take place in September, Seaton said. In fact, that seems likely.”

“It’s probably going to be in September — Tennessee game,” Seaton said. “That’s when it’s going to be.”

Seaton is a priority recruit for Florida. He’s the No. 38 overall prospect and No. 2 tackle in the On3 Industry Rankings.

“Florida right now, they’re doing pretty well,” Seaton told Gators Online. “I would say, we just need to continue building that relationship and see where it goes. See where that takes us.”

He added, the Gators are “high up on the board for me. … the whole staff, they’re doing a good job over there.”

According to Seaton, about seven or eight schools remain alive. One of them is Alabama, which he officially visited in June. Seaton spoke highly of the Tide on Friday.

Additionally, he has locked in an official visit with South Carolina.

This is Seaton’s On3 scouting report: “Few prospects made a more drastic transformation from their sophomore to junior seasons than Jordan Seaton, who debuted at No. 19 in the midseason update of the 2024 On300. The Washington (D.C.) St. John’s College offensive lineman dropped well over 50 pounds in the off-season and is around 6’5 and 305 pounds. That physical transformation is showing up on the field, with Seaton is moving at a different level as a junior. While he’s always been a strong, technical offensive lineman, the improved movement skills have helped him develop into a borderline dominant player with positional flexibility.”
