4-star LB Tylen Singleton commits to LSU Tigers

Many (La.) four-star linebacker Tylen Singleton has announced his commitment to the LSU Tigers.

Singleton tweeted his commitment Saturday night. He is the No. 147 overall prospect and No. 13 linebacker in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Singleton visited LSU back in April, where he met with defensive coordinator Matt House.

“We didn’t even talk about football; we talked about life, life after football,” Singleton told On3 in May. “We looked at film, at my plays where I did great and plays where I could’ve been better. I like playing the nickel and I feel that he can bring out the best of my abilities at the next level.”

Singleton currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $86K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
