4-star LB Jordan Lockhart commits to Texas A&M Aggies

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star linebacker Jordan Lockhart has committed to the Texas A&M Aggies. He announced the news on Twitter.

Lockhart had been a long-time Ole Miss commitment but backed off of the pledge in March.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder is the No. 393 overall prospect and No. 40 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 32 player in California.

Texas A&M extended an offer to Lockhart on March 5 and he was on campus the first time on March 31. He was back on campus June 9 for an official visit.

Lockhart is the eighth commitment in Texas A&M’s 2024 class. He is also the fourth four-star pledge for the Aggies.

Their other four-star commits are Longview (Texas) Pine Tree defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, Blountstown (Fla.) safety Jordan Pride and Katy (Texas) Tompkins interior offensive lineman Ashton Funk.

Jordan Lockhart currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $49K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
