4-Star Georgia LB Set for June 7-9 USC Official Visit
An offer was sent out by USC’s Outside Linebackers coach Roy Manning to Covington (Ga.) Eastisde EDGE Christian Gass, about a month before Manning was replaced by Eric Henderson.
Manning helped USC sign some extremely talented players the last two years, but now Shaun Nua and Bryson Allen-Williams, aka Coach BAW, are the lead recruiters for Gass. Coach BAW is from the Atlanta area and attended Cedar Grove HS in Ellenwood (GA), about 20 minutes from the Atlanta Airport.
At 6-foot-4, 205 pounds, Gass is a Top 250 ranked prospect by On3, which means he’s a four-star player.
Gass’ offer sheet isn’t as lengthy as some, but there are some heavy hitters. Along with USC, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Auburn, Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Marshall, Kansas, Coastal Carolina, Mississippi St., Colorado Cincinnati and several others have offered.
As a junior in 2023, Gass was incredibly productive on the defensive side of the ball. He finished the season with 68 total tackles, 11 tackled for loss, and two sacks. He also added one forced fumble and one blocked field goal.
Why USC Official?
WeAreSC asked Gass why USC will get one of his Official Visits? This will be his first trip to Los Angeles ever and he’ll be at USC June 7-9.
“One reason is academically they’re just very high on the board and just having that degree from USC could mean a lot,” he said “It just sets you up for the life after football. Next I would say, the relationship is starting to build stronger and stronger just being comfortable with every coach just is something big.
“Also, just getting out there and having one on one time and learning more and more about the program and what they have to offer on and off the field.”

As of now, Gass has taken one official visit to Florida. His upcoming June visits are USC (6/7), Georgia (6/14), Kentucky (6/17) and Tennessee (6/21).

USC Leads Per the On3 RPM on Gass
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Florida now has the lead to land a commitment from Gass at 26.6%. Georgia slightly trails the Gators at 18.7% and Kentucky is at 16%.

USC currently has 12 verbal commits from the class of 2025 in Justus Terry, Isaiah Gibson, Julian “JuJu” Lewis, Drake Stubbs, Matai Tagoa’i, Romero Ison, Harry Dalton, Trestin Castro, Gus Cordova, Willi Wascher, Riley Wormley and Daune Morris.
