4-star F London Jemison recaps Syracuse official; updates recruitment talking upcoming visits
London Jemison is the No. 58 overall player in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking. The 6-foot-7 forward from Oakdale (CT) St. Thomas More is averaging 14.3 points with the Expressions Elite program on NIke’s EYBL Circuit this summer.
“I’m a versatile wing who can attack mismatches and bigger defenders,” Jemison told On3. “I feel like I can shoot, I can run the floor really well, and I’m switchable one through four on defense.”
On3 caught up with four-star London Jemison after a recent live viewing to dive into his recruitment.
“My only official visit so far is to Syracuse,” Jemison said.
Jemison breaks down Syracuse
“So on my visit, I saw how the coaches and the players have a great relationship there,” Jemison said. “I learned that with Coach (Adrian) Autry, if you play defense he is going to let you go on offense. Their player development for wings is good. That is a lot of what they focus on, they always have good wings coming out of there.
“They play fast and run. They get up and down, shoot a lot of threes, and play with good spacing. Gerry McNamara was my main recruiter there, but he is at Siena now. We have still been able to keep a good relationship and kept the connection. I like Syracuse.”
London Jemison talks recruitment
“I don’t have any other visits set yet, but I’m definitely going to take some,” Jemison said. “I’m talking with Notre Dame, Providence, and maybe Xavier about official visits.”
NOTRE DAME: “Definitely the consistency of the coaches recruiting me has stood out. The coaches appreciate my game a lot. Coach (Mike) Farrelly is always sending me videos and clips of my game. So their consistency with how much they appreciate my game and my skill has really stood out.”
PROVIDENCE: “They have been to my school a lot because it is not too far from their campus. Coach (Dennis) Felton and Coach (Kim) English have both been very heavy in my recruitment. They tell me how much they like my versatility and how I can guard one through four. Coach English is definitely building something up there.”
XAVIER: “Their playstyle stands out to me. They play fast with a lot of versatile wings on the floor. I have a really good relationship with coach Adam Cohen, he has been recruiting me since my sophomore year. We talk a lot and I like a lot of what they do.”
“Georgetown is a newer school that is recruiting me,” Jemison said. “I’m hearing from the new coach at BYU, Ohio State, Tennessee, the new coach at Vanderbilt, and Alabama are all reaching out but haven’t offered yet.”
In his words
“I don’t have a timeframe really set for visits or a commitment yet,” London Jemison said. “I’ll probably sign during the early period, like in the early fall, hopefully before the season.
“When I go on these visits, I’m going to look closely at the relationship I have. Like if my family and everything feels comfortable with the coaches. Winning is very important, that is why I play, to win. Player development will be big for me too.
“The playstyle will be big for me. I’m comfortable in systems that play four and five out with a lot of running and spacing on the court with threes and backdoor cutting.”
