3-star OT Ryan Hughes commits to TCU Horned Frogs

The Woodlands (Texas) three-star offensive tackle Ryan Hughes has announced his commitment to TCU. He chose the Horned Frogs over Army, Nebraska and Virginia among others.

Hughes is the No. 769 overall prospect and No. 55 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 120 player in Texas.

The 6-foot-6, 295-pound recruit marks another recruiting win for TCU, who is coming off an impressive run to the College Football Playoff National Championship game during the 2022 season.

Hughes has an On3 NIL Valuation of $13.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
