3-2-1: Kansas State makes recruiting surge

THREE THINGS WE LEARNED ABOUT KANSAS STATE
2. MAJOR VISITOR: The Wildcats weren’t finished. On the heels of securing the services of one of the best transfers of the entire cycle, Jerome Tang and K-State brought in a top 25 prospect in the 2024 class for an official visit in Derrion Reid.
3. 2025: Similarly to the 2023 group in Kansas, the Class of 2025 may be pretty special. Six from that particular cycle have already been offered by Kansas State. That is more than the Wildcats extended scholarships to in the 2024 class.
TWO QUESTIONS
1. RANKED NON-CON OPPONENTS: According to the early projected rankings by multiple outlets, everyone expects two of the K-State non-conference opponents to be in the Top 25 in USC and Villanova. In fact, the Trojans could even crack the top 10. A third is also possible if the Wildcats meet Miami. Like USC, the Hurricanes may be ranked in the top 10 as well.
2. PORTAL FINISH: Two spots remain for Kansas State to fill before the beginning of the 2023-2024 season. Will they use both and who are the targets? KSO will be up to speed on it, but nothing is surfacing just yet.
ONE K-STATE PREDICTION
1. TWO IN-STATE PROSPECTS: Of the six in-state 2025 prospects that K-State has already offered, we would consider two to already be locks. It would be a stunner if the Wildcats didn’t land athlete Linkon Cure of Goodland and Maize receiver Bryson Hayes.
