3-2-1: Highlighting the upside of the Kansas State running back tandem

It is time for the Kansas State edition of the 3-2-1 feature.
THREE THINGS WE LEARNED ABOUT KANSAS STATE
2. Brix: A sensational visitor list has been assembled by Kansas State for Thursday. We have already revealed a few of the headliners, but a new development is that top 100 prospect Grant Brix will also be in Manhattan. He continues to be torn between K-State, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
3. Basketball schedule: The Big 12 opponents for Kansas State were revealed, and we have already presented our takeaways. The road-only portion is a tough pill for the Wildcats, but they have exactly who they would want when it comes to those programs that they will see twice. For example, rivalries with Iowa State and Kansas were preserved. We’re also told that the finishing touches on the entire K-State schedule have been completed as well, so expect that announcement soon.
TWO QUESTIONS
1. Boganowski: It has only been a day or two since the dead period has ended and we already have changes in visit plans. KSO confirmed that Michael Boganowski didn’t make his planned Kansas visit on Tuesday. We’ll see if it is rescheduled, but that is the intention at the moment. The Junction City product will be at Kansas State on Thursday.
2. Remaining basketball roster: What should we expect to happen with the final two roster spots for Jerome Tang and the Wildcats? That’s still a mystery, but they leave for the Israel trip on August 10.

ONE K-STATE PREDICTION
1. RB Duo: As we inch closer to fall camp and eventually the start of the K-State football season, the drum beats are getting louder and louder about just how good the Wildcats might have it with both Treshaun Ward and DJ Giddens in the backfield. There is no replacing Deuce Vaughn, but the two successors could form the best duo in the league.
