2026 WR Jameson Powell learned a lot about Ole Miss at Juice Fest 24

2026 Folsom (Calif.) wide receiver Jameson Powell made the 2,000+ mile journey to Ole Miss for Juice Fest 24. The 5-foot-10, 150 pound prospect had a productive weekend with the Rebel coaching staff and his teammate, Ryder Lyons, complete with a private workout inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

“I loved Ole Miss, they showed me a lot and told me a lot about the program I did not know,” Powell said. “I talked with (Lane) Kiffin, the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach a lot and they are all good people.”

As a sophomore, Powell grabbed 86 receptions for 1,231 yards and 14 touchdowns. The talented wideout has connected with his potential future position coach.

“I talk mostly with the coach (George) McDonald. His message is more of Ole Miss developing me for what’s after college football.”

Jameson Powell’s teammate, Ryder Lyons, connected with Ole Miss as well.

The two have been fast friends for a while now and have been a lethal combination for Folsom. Both were in Oxford together over the weekend and enjoyed it.

“Ryder loved it as well and the plan since 8th grade was to go to the same college and ball out together,” Powell said. “So hopefully that is what happens.”
