2025 Top-100 Wisconsin OT Owen Strebig has early interest in USC

With USC headed to the B1G in the not-so-distant future, you will see the Trojans start to recruit B1G country a bit more. One recruit Josh Henson and USC has established an early relationship with in the area is Waukesha (WI) Catholic Memoral offensive tackle Owen Strebig.
Strebig is the No. 70 overall prospect and No. 10 defensive lineman in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Wisconsin.
Strebig picked up his offer from USC on June 15.
I caught up with Strebig briefly about his offer and early thoughts on USC in his recruitment. I will get more in-depth dialogue soon.
I simply wanted to know what level of interest Strebig had in USC as a midwest kid. He says the USC is absolutely on his radar.
“My recruitment has been going very good. I am so thankful and blessed to be in this position. As for USC, I am definitely interested. We were just looking at trying to make it out to Los Angeles for a game [this fall].”
In regards to why he is valuing USC this early in his recruitment and already planning visits, Strebig says “the degree and the high level of football” are his main appeals.
It has not been quite one month since his offer but Josh Henson is already building a foundation with Strebig.
“I have had solid communication with Coach Henson [so far].”
Strebig will have all the big guns chasing him
Strebig is your typical elite midwest offensive lineman, measuring in at 6-foot-7, 295 pounds.
At this point in his recruitment, he says “Notre Dame, Florida, USC, and Michigan” are standing out.
He did make sure to add though that “My recruitment will stay 100% open for a while.”
On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, hometown Wisconsin currently has the lead to land a commitment from Strebig at 23.%. Notre Dame trails at 13.9%.
RPM was released to the public in December 2021. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
On3 NIL Valuation
Strebig has an On3 NIL Valuation of $58K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time
