2025 QB Alex Manske returns to Nebraska this weekend for unofficial visit

Nebraska offered Algona (Iowa) quarterback Alex Manske a week ago. The 2025 quarterback target picked up an offer from the Huskers following a camp performance last week and on Saturday he was back in Lincoln for an unofficial visit. Things are moving quickly between Manske and Nebraska which is critical in the last remaining weeks of June.
This second time in Lincoln was about learning more about the school, football program and getting to meet all of the coaches in Lincoln. Manske had a full day in Lincoln doing all of those things.
“I got to do a bunch of different things,” Manske said. “We were able to tour the new facilities they are building, tour the campus, try on the uniform, see the stadium, and talk in-depth with all of the coaching staff.”
Alex Manske got a presentation of the Nebraska offense on visit
There was a chance to Manske to sit down with the offensive coordinator to hear about what Nebraska wants to do with their offense. It’s still conceptual, and the Nebraska staff has to walk through it all with practice film as well as film of other schools and their players.
“When I was with coach Satterfield, he gave me an offensive presentation of what they are going to try and do. Seeing that, it was really intriguing. It all looked and sounded really good to me.”
It’s obvious that things are moving quickly between Nebraska and Manske. Nebraska is definitely giving off the vibe that Manske is moving up their board and is a priority for them in the 2025 class.
“That was the message they gave off to me today,” Manske said. “It’s been a great experience, to be here where I am right now, and I am not stressed out or anything about it. It’s definitely really cool.”
The next thing for Manske that he needs to do at Nebraska is see a game. Algona, Iowa is only about 260 miles from Lincoln, but Manske has never been to a home game for Nebraska before.
“I have never been to a game in Lincoln, and I am definitely going to get back for a game in the fall. I am looking forward to that.”
Alex Manske is getting invites to more camps following offer from Nebraska
Following the offer from Nebraska, one of the home state schools also offered Manske. He has camp plans to get to three more schools and more opportunities have been popping up. There just isn’t a lot of time left before he plans to shut it down and get ready for his junior year.
“Iowa offered right after Nebraska, and I have plans to camp at Kansas State, Missouri, and Minnesota. Iowa wants me to get back up whenever I have some time free.”
“I have more coaches hitting me about coming to camp, but I am not sure I think that might be it. I have a lot of schools sending me camp invites, but I am already really busy. I don’t think I will have any time to get down to any other ones.”
