2025 OT Jack Lange in Lincoln to check out Nebraska this weekend

Nebraska offered junior offensive tackle Jack Lange from Eureka (Mo.) following an impressive performance at their summer camp in June. Lange wanted to make it back to Lincoln to take a better look around, meet more of the coaches, continue developing the relationship with Nebraska, and have a little fun before fall camp starts.
Lange was a late addition to this weekend’s group. The Huskers contacted him last week and asked him if he’d like to get back.
“Coach Williams reached out last week and asked if I wanted to come back up,” Lange said. “Obviously I wanted to come back after the camp and getting an offer this summer. I wanted to get a better understanding for the people at Nebraska.”
The last week was valuable for Lange. He visited the home state school on Friday, camped at a Big XII school on Saturday, and then went north to check out Nebraska on Sunday.
“I was in Columbia on Friday and I was at Kansas State for camp yesterday. This week allowed me to take a few more trips before the summer ends and opened up a lot of new possibilities that could come. It was a great experience to go through, meet all of the coaches, and evaluate things myself.”
Nebraska made the visit fun this weekend for Jack Lange and other recruits
The visit was about six hours long, and it wasn’t the typical format. Lange said that there were some activities that the visitors took part in, including a water balloon fight after lunch.
“We did a little scavenger hunt throughout the facility and then did a big barbecue with everybody,” Lange said. “Then the coaches started throwing water balloons at everybody, and we had a huge water balloon fight. I didn’t really see that coming.”
One of the things that Lange wanted to do was get a look at the new facilities. He also wanted to sit down and reconnect with the Nebraska staff. He picked up the offer from Matt Rhule about seven weeks ago following his camp performance.
“I did get a quick walk-through of the new facility and I got to talk with coach Rhule, coach Raiola, and coach Coeling. I just wanted to re-establish things with them with my recruiting as things move forward.”
Nebraska covered the bases with Lange stating that they want him to return in the fall and summer for an official visit. Lange says he will contact Nebraska later this week to start discussing plans for a game day visit.
“I think that they were indicating on those things and they want to get me up to one of the early games this fall,” Lange said. “Once August 1st comes around I am going to start texting with them and see when I can come up.”
Lange’s junior season is approaching, and he’s ready to go. As a sophomore, he only played one game and said it’s been a long summer for him and his team. They are prepared to get back on the field.
“I am really looking forward to just getting out there and playing. I only played one varsity game last year. I am excited to put the pads on, it’s been a long summer, and the whole team has been working.”
