2025 NCAA Tournament: Tip-off times, TV channels announced for Sunday Elite 8 games

With the Sweet 16 in the books, the Elite 8 of the 2025 NCAA Tournament is officially set. The TV schedule is also in place as the NCAA announced tip-off times for Sunday’s games.

Friday’s games started with a thriller in Atlanta. Ole Miss made things interesting with Michigan State at State Farm Arena, leading by as many as 10 points in the first half and taking a 33-31 lead into halftime. But the Spartans didn’t back down and eventually forced a late free throw shooting contest. Ultimately, MSU came out on top 73-70 after a late Rebels shot fell at the buzzer.

In the other early game in Indianapolis, Tennessee’s defense was on full display in the first half, holding Kentucky to just 10-of-26 shooting heading into the break. While the Wildcats went punch for punch with the Vols after halftime, Tennessee was able to capitalize on 14 offensive rebounds and eventually get the win to advance to the Elite Eight.

The late slate included two games on the schedule. Auburn and Michigan squared off in a close one through the first half in the Atlanta nightcap, but the Tigers were able to pull ahead in a big way in the second half to advance to the Elite Eight.

Finally, Houston and Purdue went back-and-forth throughout the early part of their contest in Indianapolis. However, the Cougars started to pull away a bit in the second half as the Boilermakers looked to keep pace.

Now, the schedule is set for the Sunday slate of Elite 8 games in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Here are the tip-off times and TV channels for those matchups.

Midwest Region – Indianapolis

1. Houston/4. Purdue vs. 2. Tennessee
2:20 p.m. ET, CBS

South Region – Atlanta

1. Auburn vs. 2. Michigan State
5:05 p.m. ET, CBS

Sunday’s games will mark the last of the Elite Eight matchups. Saturday’s tip-off times and TV channels were previously announced.

From there, it’s off to San Antonio for the Final Four. The 2025 NCAA Tournament will wrap up at the Alamodome, and the national championship is scheduled for April 7.
