2025 four-star forward Jamarion Davis-Fleming planning SEC official visits for the fall

2025 four-star forward Jamarion Davis-Fleming planning SEC official visits for the fall

Fresh off another solid campaign at Canton High School, 2025 power forward and On3 four-star prospect Jamarion Davis-Fleming is off and rolling this summer on the EYBL circuit.

Naturally, Davis-Fleming has several things he wants to accomplish this offseason and so far, he has experienced success on the summer circuit. Davis-Fleming is rated as the nation’s No. 23 power forward and the state’s No. 1 prospect by On3, and he was recently elevated to four-star status by On3.

“I am playing with Team Thad again on the EYBL circuit,” said Davis-Fleming. “It’s going good and we are 11-4 and just qualified for the region’s top seed. I’m playing the four and so far, it’s been good. I am trying to expand my game and show I can shoot the ball and play off the dribble. I want to show my complete skills set.”

Looking ahead at the rest of his June schedule, Davis-Fleming has a couple of camp stops to make. Holding offers from Mississippi State, Ole Miss and LSU among others, Davis-Fleming is also planning to begin his official visits’ tour later in the fall.

“I have a Top 100 camp (this week),” Davis-Fleming noted. “Then we have the team camp at Mississippi State in June. I don’t have any official visits set for the summer but I plan to do that soon. I want to make my decision in October so I will take all of my visits in the fall. I want to visit Mississippi State, Ole Miss, LSU, Alabama, Arkansas and maybe Ohio State.”

Overall in his recruitment, Davis-Fleming mentioned that the instate SEC programs are showing him the most interest, of late. He has added more SEC interest in the previous weeks, as well.

“Lately, I would say Mississippi State and Ole Miss have been on me the hardest,” remarked the 6-foot-8 and 200-pound Davis-Fleming. “I just started getting in contact with Arkansas and Alabama has been in contact. But talking-wise, I would say State and Ole Miss are on me the hardest right now.”

With Mississippi State, Davis-Fleming is very familiar with the Bulldogs’ program due to a family connection. His older brother – Javian Davis – spent two seasons at Mississippi State and played for former State head coach Ben Howland before finishing up his college career at UAB.

“It’s going very well with Mississippi State,” mentioned Davis-Fleming. “I’ve been talking to Coach (George) Brooks and I like Coach (Chris) Jans, too. They call me once or twice a week to check in to see how I am doing and how the family is doing. So that connection has been really good and I’ve known Coach Brooks for a long time now.”

Davis-Fleming has also watched the Bulldogs’ recent success under Jans’ watch. And he has been impressed with the job Jans has done in his first two seasons at State.

“I think Coach Jans has done an amazing job,” Davis-Fleming added. “They’ve made the (NCAA) Tournament two years in a row and that was the first time in a long time. He has taken a program that went to the NIT to the NCAA Tournament so he has done an amazing job.”
