2025 4-star WR Talyn Taylor feels good about Georgia after visit

Geneva (Ill.) Geneva Community 2025 four-star wide receiver Talyn Taylor made a stop at Georgia over the weekend.
The No. 63 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings watched Georgia defeat South Carolina 24-14 on Saturday. Taylor picked up an offer from the Bulldogs back in May after a camp in Athens. Georgia has quickly grabbed Taylor’s attention.
Saturday provided another chapter in the growing interest for the four-star in the back-to-back national champions. The atmosphere inside Sanford Stadium and the intensity from the current Bulldogs were the standouts for Taylor.
“The atmosphere and the intensity in which they played stood out the most,” Taylor said. “It caught my attention because the crowd brought the energy and the team played with a lot of heart and intensity…The atmosphere was great. It was great to see the players lay it all out and come out with the win.”
The culture at Georgia is something that Taylor feels he could be a part of. The Bulldogs trailed at the half and Taylor didn’t sense any panic or any lack of confidence from Georgia’s players.
The Bulldogs’ desire to attack also stood out to the four-star wideout.
“I love how much effort they put into every play and how relentless they are,” Taylor said. “It is obvious they are prepared and come together as a team. That is the type of team I want to be a part of. I want coaches who demand the best of me. I also want to know that everyone on the field is in it together and like-minded.”
Georgia coaching staff makes impression on Talyn Taylor
Taylor had a chance to speak with a lot of Georgia’s staff over the day on Saturday. He spoke with Georgia wide receiver coach Bryan McClendon prior to the game.
Taylor also had the chance to talk with Georgia head coach Kirby Smart following the game. McClendon made a major impression on Taylor in their short conversation. McClendon is also an Illinois native. Taylor feels good about all of Georgia’s coaches. The Bulldogs’ staff has been building a strong connection with the four-star wideout.
“Coach B-Mac showed me how they have used their receivers in all of their games and we discussed how I would fit in the program,” Taylor said. “The coaches are great. I really feel comfortable with all of them. I have great respect for them, their knowledge of the game, and everything they are accomplishing and building.”
