2025 4-star WR Naeshaun Montgomery has early contenders

West Palm Beach (Fla.) Cardinal Newman 2025 four-star wide receiver Naeshaun Montgomery became a national sensation this spring.

His one-handed catches and electric play on the 7-on-7 circuit have made waves. Montgomery’s recruitment has elevated alongside the buzz he’s created playing 7-on-7.

Montgomery is the No. 47 overall prospect in the On3 rankings for the class of 2025. He’s already accumulated 16 college offers. More could be in the works.

Montgomery isn’t near a decision, but he does have a program that keeps making an impression. That program is USC.

The four-star wide receiver visited USC at the start of the week. He didn’t see everything that he wanted to see the first time around, so he returned on Saturday. Montgomery wanted to meet Lincoln Riley but was unable to.

Montgomery has a lot of interest in the Trojans.

“There’s just something about them that I love,” Montgomery told On3.

Montgomery plays with a flare. Montgomery feels USC’s offense and Los Angeles are a fit for his toolkit. He’s intrigued by an opportunity to play with Zachariah Branch.

“It definitely does (fit me), I’d definitely be excited to play with Zachariah Branch,” Montgomery said. “I saw him yesterday working out, but I didn’t want to interrupt his workout. Hopefully, I get to see him at some point.”

Montgomery has seen new interest from the likes of Clemson, Georgia, Alabama and a few others. Montgomery is tentatively planning to make his way to Athens this summer, likely when he returns from the OT7 Finals in Los Angeles.

An off from Georgia would be another offer that Montgomery would cherish.

“It would be just another blessing,” Montgomery said. “I definitely like them more because of the back-to-back national championships and George Pickens.”

Montgomery is also eyeing a visit to Clemson. He hasn’t set a date to make his way to campus yet but Montgomery has made contact with wide receiver coach Tyler Grisham.

The wide receiver corp at Clemson is something that Montgomery has had his eyes on for years.

“When I was watching them for a little bit, they had good wide receivers, so I got to go see what they’re talking about,” Montgomery said.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine favors in-state Miami early on for Montgomery. The Hurricanes were one of Montgomery’s earliest offers. They have a 33.9 percent chance of landing the 6-foot-3, 175-pound four-star according to RPM.
