2025 4-star WR Caleb Cunningham sets Auburn visit
Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County four-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham is visiting Auburn on April 7. He announced the news Wednesday over social media.
Cunningham is the No. 11 overall prospect and No. 2 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Mississippi.
On3 rates Cunningham higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2025 On300, he is the No. 10 overall prospect in the country.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound wideout holds 15 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Ole Miss is leading for his commitment at 29.0%.
“It will be hard for me,” Cunningham told On3’s Chad Simmons on March 21 about his decision. “I am looking for who will show the most love and make me feel at home. I want to see who loves me, who trusts me and where I feel I fit.”
One of the schools to most recently host the 6-foot-3, 180-pound wideout is Alabama, who Cunningham saw on March 24. He was offered by the Crimson Tide during his visit.
“It just felt unreal,” Cunningham told Andrew Bone of BamaInsider about getting an Alabama offer. “It’s just a really big blessing. I was excited. It was truly unreal.
“Coach (Nick) Saban said he watched my film. He likes the way I play. He told me to just be the best I can be, and don’t let being a five-star affect me. He said you have to keep working. Some five-star players stop working because they feel like they’ve made it.”

Schools are starting to stand out to Cunningham
A few programs are currently standing out to Cunningham. He broke them down with Simmons.
Florida State: “I was back this weekend and hung out and took pictures. (Mike) Norvelloffered me and I feel like he loves me a lot… I like the staff. It’s a cool place to be. We talked about God a lot and I loved that. I just felt at home.”
Miami: “Miami has a lot of loud fans and nice facilities. I am meeting the next receivers coach (Kevin Beard) in the spring. I saw Miami’s game against Pittsburgh. It is a nice place and they are rebuilding.”
Mississippi State: “Coach (Chad) Bumphis just came in and I love him a lot. We have been talking a lot and they want me there bad. Coach (Zach) Arnett was the coach that originally offered me. They want me and they feel I would be a great fit for them. State is right up the road, so I definitely feel at home there. They want me there all the time.”
Ole Miss: “They have a good staff. All of them love me and they stay in touch. Coach (Derrick) Nix is a great receivers coach and a nice guy. He knows how to coach his receivers. Every time I am there, they all make me feel at home.”
